Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Brandon Marshall attended Cimarron-Memorial High School, where he played football and was also a member of the track & field team. In football, Brandon was named a first team All-Sunset Conference as a linebacker and tight end. Marshall was named second team all-state as a linebacker, and was also a two-time all-league on offensive and defense. In 2016, Cimarron-Memorial High School retired Marshall's high school jersey on May 13.
Marshall attended the University of Nevada Reno, where he majored in criminal justice and played football for the Wolf Back as an outside linebacker. He was named second team All-WAC. Brandon was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2012 NFL Draft. Later in 2013, Marshall signed with the Denver Broncos. After defeating the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, the Broncos went on to play in the 2014 Super Bowl. Marshall played with the Denver Broncos through 2018 and was named to the Denver Broncos 2010's all decade team.
Brandon runs several successful businesses, and is committed to giving back to the Southern Nevada community. Throughout his career, Brandon has worked tirelessly to invoke change in social justice issues. In 2016, Brandon founded Williams-Marshall Cares together with his mother, Barbara Marshall. WMC is dedicated to inspiring and activating youth athletes and future leaders for a lifelong commitment to service, integrity and community leadership. The Williams-Marshall Cares Leadership Program envisions a future where youth are empowered to unleash their potential, equipped with the skills and inspiration to become positive role models and community leaders.
